Why Fly From Tijuana?
Mexico now has several Low Cost Airlines that fly domestically, offering considerably lower fares than when flying from the United States into Mexico. Savings can be as significant as 40% when flying the Low Cost Airlines (like Volaris).
In many cases, flights offered from the United States into Mexico are not direct flights, requiring a connection. Flying out of Tijuana provides you with many direct flight destinations, which makes traveling less expensive. This is the case especially when traveling to many Mexican Resorts on the Pacific Coast. (Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, Acapulco, La Paz, Mazatlan etc.)
The Tijuana Airport is an International Airport open 24 hours a day providing many non-stop flights to destinations as far as China and Japan. Otay Park & Shuttle’s services make the Tijuana International Airport easily accessible in a convenient and inexpensive way.
The Otay Mesa Chamber of Commerce has recently published a Fact Sheet regarding the benefits of flying out of Tijuana. Click on Why Fly From Tijuana.
